Following a £5.7m refurbishment programme back in 2013, the swimming facilities at Highgrove Pool re-opened to the public.
The extensive gym upgrade includes an impressive 92 stations, an aero biking studio, top-of-the-range Techno equipment, new sound system and studio flooring and refurbished female changing rooms.
Lockers - The 'wet side' or pool changing rooms take a £1 coin which is refundable. The 'dry side' or fitness changing rooms require a padlock. You can either bring your own one or buy a padlock from the front desk.
Parking - The car park at Highgrove Pool and Fitness Centre is a pay and display. Permits are available for health and fitness members at the centre.
Public transport - The centre is only ten minutes walk from Ruilsip Manor Tube Station and the H13 bus runs past the centre.
Steam and sauna rooms - Only if you are a member or have paid to use the gym on a pay as you go basis. If you are pregnant or suffer from a heart condition you are advised not to use the health suite or to consult with your doctor first. There are separate male and female sauna and steam rooms.
