Poll Clerks/Presiding Officers

As always, all staff that are offered an appointment must attend a training session regardless of previous experience. These will be held at the Civic Centre prior to election week. There will be a number of sessions held so please indicate which time would suit you. You will be notified of your attendance time accordingly.

Anybody who fails to attend a session will not be allowed to take up their appointment.

You will be expected to assist in the setting up and dismantling of the polling station at the start and end of the day. This will involve some lifting of furniture and booths.
