Welcome

We are here to support all families in the community who have children under the age of five, helping them to provide their children with the best start in life. We support families during pregnancy, with midwifery services, breastfeeding and weaning advice, and onto school transition programmes and beyond.

We offer a range of adult learning and volunteering for parents/carers and work experience opportunities for young people too. There will also be an opportunity to access Job Centre Plus information and advice in the near future.

In addition to being based at the centre, we can offer home visiting support for families who may have a range of needs. In the home, we can provide parent support with benefits entitlement and general advice, as well a range of strategies to support and improve parenting skills.

Our children's centre has been purpose built to offer fantastic facilities and resources for the local community. We have a large outdoor play area with a sand pit and all sorts of adventurous toys and equipment. We even grow our own vegetables!

We hope that by having a warm welcome from friendly staff and providing accessible services that the community needs, parents will pick up the phone to give us a call, visit the centre, and take a tour.
