Resident associations and community groups

Residents associations are groups of local people who represent the interests of their local community.

Extended family

We recognise the important role these groups play in helping make Hillingdon a nicer place to live and want to encourage residents to feel proud of their area and join their local association.

Why join?

  • Discuss and debate local issues
  • Get involved in arranging community activities, such as fun days and community clear ups.
  • Meet local like minded people
  • Access to speakers on local topics

Get involved

We are asking residents who are involved in community based groups or activities to contribute towards a database of community organisations. Creating a database for residents to search for local community groups and organisations across Hillingdon.

Why provide your details?

Once published it could help your group/organisation to:

  • Promote the work and activities it carries out
  • Increase your membership amongst new residents and old
  • Provide your group with more opportunities to be consulted
  • Find new contacts and groups in your area
  • Provide the opportunity for new residents who move into your area to find your group and get involved.
