Apprenticeships

An apprenticeship is an excellent way of gaining qualifications and essential work based skills and experience whilst earning a wage.

As well as learning in the workplace apprentices usually attend college one day each week for formal training to achieve a nationally recognised qualification.

Many employers value the new talents, fresh outlook and energy that apprentices bring to their business. Different levels of apprenticeships are available in a wide range of areas including:

  • Business and administration
  • Construction
  • Engineering
  • Health and social care
  • Management and team leading
  • Retail
