Sign up to receive council's commemorative book

The council has put together a book to commemorate the young men of Hillingdon who lost their lives during the First World War.

This has been achieved by taking names from memorials in the borough, adding details from official records, works from local history, a gazetteer of the soldiers, their ranks, medals, regiments and date and place of death.

The book, We Will Remember Themwill be given to the borough's schools and libraries and also to the families of those soldiers whose names appear on the memorials.

If you are a relative of one of these soldiers you can register to receive up to a maximum of two copies per family free of charge - additional copies can be requested at a cost of £8 each which includes postage and packing (UK Mainland only).
