Petitions about other things

Licensing petitions can only be sent in to us in advance of the meeting as "relevant representations".

If you would like to know more about making representations, please contact the Licensing Service.

Petitions requesting a referendum

If you would like more information about how to submit a petition to request a referendum, please contact Democratic Services.

Other petitions

If your petition is about something that would normally be considered by a council body (other than a Cabinet Member, Planning Committees and Licensing Committee/Sub Committees), we will decide which council decision making body should look at the issues you have raised. You will then be able to speak at the relevant meeting for five minutes.

Further information

More detailed information about the Petition Scheme can be found in Part 5F of the Council's Constitution.
