Reading Well Books on Prescription to help people with dementia

Recommending books that you might find helpful if you have dementia, are caring for someone with dementia or would like to find out more about the condition.

Reading Well Books on Prescription for dementia are endorsed by health professionals and provide information and advice, support for living well, advice for relatives and carers, and personal stories.

They are available in the following Hillingdon libraries:

  • Botwell Green
  • Charville
  • Harefield
  • Northwood
  • Northwood Hills
  • Oak Farm
  • South Ruislip
  • Uxbridge
  • West Drayton
  • Yeading

Reading Well Dementia Free reservations for titles from the Reading Well booklist are available from all other Hillingdon libraries.

The books can be recommended by GPs or other health professionals or can be borrowed from the library independently.
