Ward Councillors

In February 2017 Boris Johnson, MP for Uxbridge and South Ruislip, presented Hillingdon Royal Naval Association with a defibrillator which was funded by Hillingdon East Councillors' Ward Budget.

In October 2016 Boris Johnson, MP for Uxbridge and South Ruislip, presented Hillingdon Abbots Rugby and Football Club with a defibrillator and outdoor case, which was funded by Hillingdon East Councillors' Ward Budget.

Projects funded in 2017

  • A grant to Hillingdon Royal Naval Association to purchase new furniture.
  • A grant to North Hillingdon Toddler Group to purchase new toys and play equipment.
  • A grant to Leaside Court Retirement Complex to purchase two new garden benches.
  • Funding for the purchase and installation of a boot scraper at the entrance to a nature trail leading from Lynhurst Crescent, Hillingdon to Yeading Brook.

Projects funded in 2016

  • Funding to purchase a defibrillator for Hillingdon Royal Naval Association.
  • Funding to purchase a defibrillator and heated outdoor cabinet for Hillingdon Abbots Football Club.
  • A grant to Oak Farm Residents Association to fund a street party for Queen's 90th birthday.
  • A grant to The Innovate Centre to fund an afternoon tea party to celebrate the Queen's 90th birthday at Hillingdon Abbots Rugby and Football Club.
  • A grant to the Little Specials Group for the purchase of four play mats.

Projects funded in 2015

  • A grant to Hillingdon District Girl Guides -purchase of new cooker.
  • A grant to the Little Specials Group to purchase visual and sensory stimulating items from the sensory toy warehouse.
  • A grant to U-Can Ask Angels charity for the creation of an outdoor play area for children with disabilities and special needs (Joint grant with Ickenham, Hillingdon East, South Ruislip and Uxbridge North wards).
  • A grant to 1st Hillingdon Brownies towards transportation costs for a weekend trip to PGL in Hindhead.
  • A grant to 1st Hillingdon Boys Brigade for a 'cookhouse' marquee tent.
  • Funding granted for two memorial wooden benches in Knights Garden.

Projects funded in 2014

  • A grant to Hillingdon Abbots FC for football tops.
  • Funding granted for an entrance arch leading to Elephant Park.
  • A grant to North Hillingdon Toddler Group for new play equipment.
  • A grant to the Uxbridge Folk Club to purchase a new P.A. system.
  • Two boot scrapers with concrete bases for people using Elephant Park.

Projects funded in 2013

  • A grant to plant two cherry trees in Charville Lane West.
  • A grant to install two boot scrapers in Pole Hill Park.
  • A grant to Hillingdon Abbots RFC towards replacing their clubhouse roof.
  • A grant to install a dog waste bin in the Oak Farm Estate.

Projects funded in 2012

  • A grant to purchase and plant 6,666 daffodil bulbs to enhance the environment for local residents.
  • Planting of two flowering cherry trees for the benefit of residents in Charville Lane West and surrounding roads.
  • A grant to Hillingdon Abbots FC to purchase new football kits.
  • A grant to Oak Farm Residents Association for a grass cutter.
  • Planting of cherry trees in Knights Garden.
  • A grant to Oak Farm Resident Association for new IT equipment.

Projects funded in 2009/10 

  • Abbotsfield School purchased equipment to enhance the school environment.
  • Improvements to Pole Hill Park including improved disabled access.
  • Funding for breakfast and after school clubs at Oak Farm Library.
  • Lunch club equipment for Ryefield School.
  • Environmental improvements to Gutteridge Wood including new signage and litter bins.
