Projects funded in 2017

  • A grant to Daniel Spargo-Mabbs (DSM) Foundation to implement a drug education programme into local secondary schools (joint grant with Charville and Townfield Wards).
  • Funding to Triscott House sheltered housing complex for arts and crafts equipment.
  • Funding for the purchase and installation of a Mosquito Anti-Loitering Device for the Cycle Club in Minet Country Park.

Projects funded in 2016

  • Funding for shrubbery to be planted around the playground at Avondale Drive, Hayes to act as a safety barrier.
  • A grant to Inland Waterways Association (Middlesex Branch) on behalf of the Hillingdon Canal Partnership towards running a series of Hayes Canal Education Days (linking to Hayes Canal Festival).
  • A grant to Barra Hall Community Development Committee towards delivering a programme of free community events and activities.
  • A grant to Hillingdon Sikh Welfare Association towards a community event to celebrate Sikh New Year.
  • A grant to St Mary's Church towards replacing water pipes and for the installation of a new footpath in the churchyard.
  • A grant to Hillingdon Play Association towards running two children's events in the summer.
  • A grant to Hayes Town United FC towards new football kits and equipment.
  • A grant to Hayes Town Business Forum for the purchase of promotional shopping bags branded with the 'Hayes' logo (Joint grant with Botwell and Townfield wards).

Projects funded in 2015

  • A grant to the Friends of Speech and Language group (run by the Hayes & Harlington Community Development Committee) to fund the production and promotion of informative material and seminars / training regarding the importance of talking to babies and young children to stimulate their development (Joint grant with Townfield, Pinkwell and Heathrow Villages wards).
  • A grant to Hayes and Harlington Community Development Forum for the delivery of a programme of events for the community.
  • A grant to Hayes and Harlington Community Development Forum to hold the Hayes Canal Community Day.
  • A grant to Minet Infant School for a travelling theatre company to put on two productions.
  • A grant to Minet Junior School to purchase Kindles and Ebooks.

Projects funded in 2014

  • Funding approved for Housing department to re-paint disabled parking bays and for new signage for residents in Bramley Close, Hayes.

Projects funded in 2012

  • A grant towards landscape maintenance of 'Frankies Alley'.
  • A grant towards the purchase of art and craft materials for residents of Triscott House.
  • A grant to the Hillingdon Somali Women's group towards stationery resources and language support.
  • A grant to Suban Sports Club to purchase sports goods and equipment.
  • A grant to fund the hire of the Beck Theatre to enable Dr.Tripletts, Minet Infant and Junior School and Guru Nanak Primary and Academy to run a combined concert.
  • A grant to fund a tour of the Olympic site for the Young at Heart Group.
  • A grant to Barra Hall Community Development Committee to relaunch the Hayes and Harlington Horticultural and Craft show.
  • A grant to Hayes and Harlington Community Development Forum to launch a gardening project on the Austin Road Estate.
  • A grant to Hayes FM to establish coffee mornings for pensioners at St Anselms Church.
  • A grant to Townfield Community Centre to create an edible landscape project.

Projects funded in 2009/10

  • Members of Barra Hall Friday Club were able to attend a Christmas celebration party.
  • All pupils attending primary schools in Townfield received reflectors this autumn, ensuring that they will be seen to and from school during the dark winter months.
  • Elderly residents in Townfield will now be able to take up Age Concerns offer of gardeners to maintain their properties.
  • Members of Hayes Bowls Club paths were replaced.
  • Avondale Residents Association received a grant for the purchase of shrubs and equipment to maintain their memorial garden dedicated to residents who have passed away.
  • Replacement fencing was installed around the 'Badges' area of Townfield to make the area more safe and clean.
