West Drayton Crossrail

In 2014, it was announced that TfL and Crossrail would set aside a sum of £30 million for improving the public realm around the outer-London surface-level rail stations.

The council submitted a bid to the 'Crossrail Complementary Measures' fund for West Drayton Station, and subsequently received notification that the scheme had been awarded a sum of £1.6 million to improve the area around the station. The scheme will primarily focus on Station Approach, the Grand Union Canal and the Warwick Road entrance, which is on the southern side of the railway.

Building Design Partnership and Steer Davies Gleave have been appointed to develop the proposals and more information will be provided when available.
