Volunteer for Wildlife projects

Volunteer with London Wildlife Trust (LWT)

LWT run regular volunteer work days on the reserves they manage on behalf of Hillingdon Council.

Get involved in a range of activities, including keeping paths clear, repairing fences, rubbish removal and planting wildflowers. Refreshments provided.

We also cover reasonable travel expenses and can supply wellington boots on the day if needed.

Volunteer for Water for Wildlife Project

Help discover what is living in London's ponds, streams, canals, rivers and reservoirs. Volunteers are needed to record London's freshwater habitats, so the first-ever atlas of dragonflies and damselflies (Odonata) for London can be created. Other volunteers are needed to help improve freshwater habitats for a range of species across the city. 

Full training and refreshments provided.
