Seeking your views on accessing GP services seven days a week

The NHS is looking at how patients can be provided access to GP services 8am to 8pm, seven days per week.

GP practices in Hillingdon are generally open between the core hours of 8am to 6.30pm Monday to Friday. In October 2017 a new service started, which now makes it possible for GP practices in Hillingdon to offer patients "extended hours appointments" every weekday evening - from 6:30pm to 8pm and at weekends between 8am and 8pm, Saturday and Sunday.

These additional GP and nurse appointments are bookable through your own GP practice and are available at three hubs located in Uxbridge (at Central Uxbridge Surgery), Pinner (at Eastcote Health Centre) and Hayes (at Hesa Centre).

Healthwatch Hillingdon are gathering your views on these 'extended hours appointments' and how in the future you would like to access a GP, at a time that best suits you.

From the information you tell us, we will produce a report which aims to inform, shape, and improve access to GP practices in Hillingdon in accordance with the wishes expressed by local people.
By giving your views in this survey, you will have the opportunity to influence the way future GP services will be delivered in Hillingdon.
