In your child's early years, you may have questions or concerns about their development - this may be because of a health condition identified during pregnancy or at birth, or because you worry their development is not as you anticipated. Family support

In Hillingdon, we want to ensure children and their families receive the services and support they need to get the very best start in life. Our children's centres and the Stronger Families Hub offer a range of universal and targeted support to help families reach their full potential.

Children's centres  

Our children's centres support local families and carers with children under 5, through parent support and child development, within a caring and nurturing environment.  

Sessions are planned to support children's development and to identify additional learning and support, where needed. 

We offer a range of programmes to support young children and their families who may have a developmental delay or special education needs or disabilities. Programmes include:

Stronger Families Hub

Our Stronger Families Hub helps families to be (and feel) strong, safe and healthy through early and targeted support, so they can reach their full potential.

The hub responds to a family's needs as early as they are identified and makes sure the child and family is provided with the right support.
