Nordic walking

A simple but effective way to have a whole-body workout.

Nordic Walking in Ruislip

Nordic Walking is an enhancement of ordinary walking - it makes something we can nearly all do, twice as effective! Using poles adds two major benefits to ordinary walking:

  • the upper body muscles are used as well as the legs
  • The poles help to propel the walker along - he/she works harder than usual and gains speed, yet the support given by the poles makes it feel easier!
