  • Installation of a community notice board in Whitby Road.

  • Newnham Junior School were able to brush up their horticultural skills thanks to the new gardening equipment.
  • A gardening project in Field End Junior School received a grant for new fencing.
  • Pupils from St Swithun's Wells' School received a grant for new books to expand their library.
  • Field End Junior School received a grant to help furnish a drop-in centre designed to give advice and support to parents.
  • Ruislip Scouts will be able to enjoy their outside activities more thanks to a contribution from the councillors to complete patio works outside their hut on Mount Pleasant.
  • A contribution which will enable local police to purchase Automatic Number Plate Recognition (ANPR) equipment.

  • Eastcote High Street looked festive in December 09 thanks to a contribution from the ward councillors.
  • Various environmental improvements including new benches, litter bins, notice boards and history boards.
  • A grant was made to Eastcote Choral Society to purchase sheet music and music books
  • Bishop Ramsey School purchased some clock radios in order to coordinate break times across the school.
  • Warrender School have received money to plant some trees in their grounds.
  • Pupils from Coteford School will be able to develop their balancing skills thanks to some new gymnastic equipment.
  • St Thomas More Roman Catholic Church improvements to the memorial garden.

Harefield

  • Grant towards the Harefield festive lights switch on and celebration musical event.
  • A grant to purchase new archery equipment for Harefield Archery Club
  • Grant to Hillingdon Outdoor Activities Centre to purchase a freeboard pontoon to facilitate access to the boats.
  • Grant to 2nd Harefield Brownies to subsidise a Brownie/Guide 'Pack' Holiday to Marchant's Hill.

  • Contribution to extend the Kickz project, delivered by Watford FC, in Harefield, to provide sport and educational provision for young people.

  • New hanging baskets in the High Street throughout the summer.
  • Christmas Tree on the village green.
  • Hillingdon Outdoor Activities Centre purchased two new boats.
  • The Willow Tree Centre was able to improve its facilities.

Ickenham

  • Grant to Ruislip Rangers Football Club to renew the portable soccer goals.
  • Grant to Lady Bankes Infant School to purchase specialist art supplies.
  • Grant to Lady Bankes Junior School to purchase specialist art supplies.

  • Local police purchased an Automatic Number Plate Recognition (ANPR) equipment.
  • Adventurous and enterprising students will be undertaking activities as part of their Duke of Edinburgh award.
  • Members of Age Concern's fortnightly club based on Torrington Road will be able to enjoy a range of craft activities and hobbies.
  • Primary schools in the ward have been able to restock their libraries
  • Ruislip Rugby Club has purchased training kit especially designed to be used by children as young as seven years old.
  • Traders in Ruislip Manor are currently working on a new website aimed to promote businesses in the area. A grant was presented to help with set up costs.
  • Ruislip High School received new uniforms for their cheerleading teams.

Northwood

  • Grant to the Michael Sobell House Hospice towards the purchase of a new sound system and DAB radio as well as mobile ICT equipment (3 tablets with broadband dongles). 
  • A grant to fund an anti vandalism screen for Northwood Town Cricket Club.
  • A grant to Northwood Live at Home to pilot an exercise class.
  • A grant to contribute towards Northwood Methodist Church kitchen refurbishment.
  • Grant to Northwood Community Arts to fund a series of family workshops/entertainment for the whole community.
  • Grant to 6th Northwood Scouts group for equipment and a vehicle shelter.

  • Grant to fund a Jubilee celebration.
  • A grant to contribute towards the 'Northwood Live at Home' initiative Christmas lunch.

  • Northwood Choral Society purchased new sheet music and song books.
  • The annual fun run held by the Lynda Jackson McMillan Centre was more popular than ever and this year were able to award new trophies.
  • Young people learned about democracy and government with a trip to the House of Commons in Westminster.
  • In February 2010, Northwood's synagogues will be commemorating National Holocaust Memorial Day by holding a week long event designed to educate school children on this event in history.

  • Grant to Northwood Hills Resident Association for Jubilee celebrations.
  • Grant to Fairfield Church for a new PA system.

  • Northwood Hills Residents Association made the ward looked festive in December with the help of a grant for Christmas lights.
  • Pupils from Hillside Junior School improved their horticultural skills by setting up a vegetable garden in their school in their bid to achieve an Ecoschools award.
  • The Safer Neighbourhood Team launched their "Silver Senior Initiative" which provides information to older people to keep them safe in their homes.
  • Harlyn School saw improvements to their playground.
  • A community notice board has been provided for Northwood Hills Library.
  • New trees were planted to make the ward greener.

South Ruislip

  • Grant towards festive lights in trees along the Long Drive shopping parade.
  • A request by South Ruislip Resident Association for a community notice board.
  • A grant to Deanesfield Primary School for picnic tables and benches to create an 'al fresco' dining area.
  • A grant to Ruislip Gardens Primary School to increase quality of school dinners.

  • A grant to purchase recording studio equipment for young people at South Ruislip Young People Centre.

Projects funded in 2009/10

  • New trees were planted in Angus Drive, Stafford Road and Northolt Avenue.
  • South Ruislip Community Association were awarded with a grant to purchase a new sound system.
  • RAF Northolt Youth Football Team were provided with a new kit
  • Walkers in the ward requested a new bench and litter bin on Jim O'Neill Walk which has been installed along side the children's playground.
  • Phoenix Day Centre on Bourne Court received new furniture in their garden and conservatory.
  • Musical pupils of Bourne School will be able to learn to play one of the new instruments that have been purchased for the school.

West Ruislip

  • A grant to 2nd/9th Ruislip Scout Group to replace fire exit doors at the Scout Hut.
  • A grant to 114 Squadron ATC to assist with the Duke of Edinburgh Award expeditions.
  • A grant to the residents of Cottesmore House for 6 aging well sessions.
  • A grant to 1st/3rd Ruislip Scouts for an equipment store.
  • Installation of picnic bench at Hill Lane Park.

  • Bishop Winnington Ingram School now have a selection of new books to choose from.
  • Ruislip Lido Miniature Railway have been able to make some safety improvements such as COSHH cabinets and paving.
