Council takes part in National Fraud Initiative

The council is taking part in an exercise known as the National Fraud Initiative (NFI), which is normally undertaken every two years.

The council has to participate in the NFI by law and it is designed to help the council to detect fraudulent and erroneous payments from the public purse.
