Recreational use of any drones or small unmanned aircraft of any mass, including small toys, is prohibited in Hillingdon's parks and open spaces.

Drone policy

No drone sign
On 12 September 2019, Hillingdon Council approved a policy on drones or small unmanned aircraft (SUAs), with proportionate new measures outside the national flight restriction zones near Heathrow, RAF Northolt and Denham Aerodrome to protect local residents and provide additional safety assurances for aircraft as they fly over the borough's airspace. Furthermore, as one of London's greenest places to live, the council considers it important for its residents to enjoy its award winning parks and open spaces without hazard.
