  • Business administration

Call us on 01895 556248 and speak to our Employer Engagement Officer or email PJoshi@hillingdon.gov.uk about the opportunities that may be available to you.

A traineeship is a voluntary work placement activity that is designed to help you prepare for an apprenticeship or sustainable job. They run for a minimum of period of six weeks to five months. They are free to young people aged between 16 to24 (25 for young adults with learning difficulties or disabilities).

A traineeship involves three key elements:

  • a voluntary work experience placement for the agreed period of time with an employer, followed by an exit interview and a reference
  • English and maths courses to build up your skills and qualifications
  • a further course that develops your employment skills to enhance your CV and your work skills

If you are committed and hard-working a traineeship may be perfect for you, please contact our Employer Engagement Officer on PJoshi@hillingdon.gov.uk or call  01895 556248 for an appointment to discuss the possibilities.
