Youth games

The largest multi-sports event for young people. Over 45,000 competitors aged 7 to 17 from 33 London boroughs compete across a range of sports.

Hillingdon team

The London Youth Games (LYG) was introduced in 1977 to celebrate the Queen's Jubilee and has grown to be the largest youth sports event in Europe, making this 'Olympic style' competition.

We are always looking for athletes for all sports including those managed by local clubs. For a full list of available sports please visit the London Youth Games website.

Highlights from 2018

We came tenth this year 2018 (thirteenth last year 2017) out of 33 London boroughs and were the first borough to win the respect the games trophy, which is voted for by other borough athletes.
