Enclosure maps and awards

  • Between the 1780s and the 1830s.
  • Only one was produced for each parish.
  • They are accompanied by detailed schedules (awards). These list land owners, and give field names or descriptions.
  • Some maps show and name the 18th century pre-enclosure fields.

Goad plans

  • 1960s onwards, renewed regularly.
