Apprenticeship programme

Hillingdon Council is introducing an ambitious all-age apprenticeship programme.

apprentice-1 Opportunities are available across a wide range of services including social care, business administration, human resources, customer services, finance and many others.

As an apprentice you would help us deliver our vision of 'putting our residents first' while gaining essential vocational skills and qualifications.

Here are some of the areas we will be recruiting to:

  • Business Administration
  • Building Control
  • Finance/Accountancy
  • Human Resources
  • Horticulture
  • Learning & Development
  • Legal Services
  • Social Care

An apprenticeship with the Hillingdon Council will provide you with invaluable experience and training, working alongside colleagues in a team environment while also completing an assessed apprenticeship development programme. The majority of our apprenticeships will provide you with an accredited qualification and eligibility for entry to a relevant professional body.

Each of our apprenticeships is suitable for participants who are recent school or college leavers or for those, of any age looking to retrain in a new career. We encourage people with diverse life experiences to apply.
