Fostering

Our team of foster carers do an amazing job protecting, supporting and caring for children and young people in Hillingdon. We are always looking for more people to become foster carers and provide a stable family life, while we work with the family so that their child can hopefully return home. Foster carers receive a generous allowance and fee to look after children and young people.

Message from our Fostering team

Despite the current coronavirus situation, we continue to be here for local children and their foster carers, including those of you who are interested in becoming foster carers.

Although our fostering information events have been cancelled following the government's advice on social distancing, we have added more information to our web pages, including our information session presentation (below) and more foster carer stories. When it is safe to do so, we will re-start our fostering information events.

If you have any questions or would like to have a chat about fostering with us, call us on 0800 783 1298 or email fosteringrecruitment@hillingdon.gov.uk. We are available to talk Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm.

You can also contact us outside of these hours by completing our online form.
