Hillingdon Narrow Boats Association

Hillingdon Narrowboats Association is a voluntary organisation supported by Youth and Community Service.

Based at: The Boat House, Royal Quay, Coppermill Lock, Harefield, Middx, UB9 6JA.

The HNA has five boats which are all available for groups, including "Spirit" - a purpose-built boat for use by people with physical disabilities or special needs. It is provided with lifts to provide complete wheelchair access when required.

The boats provide an opportunity for users to learn or improve their social skills in a close, friendly, self catering environment both in a day or residential situation.

A trip on the Grand Union Canal or the London Rivers offers many educational opportunities ranging from curriculum studies to environmental and conservation concerns.

Booking enquiries please contact the project manager: Dave Wright, tel: 01895 823 582
