Summer activities for all Hillingdon children
Tuesday 29 June 2021: This summer, as part of Hillingdon Council's annual Fiesta programme, there is an array of exciting activities with dozens of courses on offer for children between Monday 26 July and Friday 27 August.
Courses are offered to children and young people in school years 1 to 13 (as of September 2021) who live or are educated in Hillingdon, and will take place at various venues across the borough.
Families are encouraged to book early, with bookings opening online on Wednesday 30 June.
In addition to Fiesta, the council is offering the government's Holiday Activity and Food Programme this year, with several free activities for children who are eligible for free school meals.
Cllr Susan O'Brien, Hillingdon Council's Cabinet Member for Families, Education and Wellbeing, said: "We're really looking forward to our annual Fiesta events. This summer programme is a fantastic opportunity for young people to try their hand at something new, develop their skills and make new friends. We are also pleased to be offering free places for children on free school meals this year, both as part of Fiesta and the Holiday Activities and Food Programme."
