Hillingdon Council's Chief Executive to retire
Wednesday 3 November 2021: Hillingdon Council's Chief Executive, Fran Beasley has announced that she will retire at the end of the year.

"It has been an absolute honour to serve the residents and elected members and I couldn't have asked to work with a better officer team.
"I am particularly proud of the role local government has played during the pandemic and I have been impressed by the astonishing flexibility, creativity, commitment and sheer hard work shown by team Hillingdon to keep residents safe through these prolonged unprecedented times; whilst simultaneously more than keeping the show on the road.
"It has also been a privilege to work with wider partners and stakeholders that together have helped make Hillingdon the fantastic borough that it undoubtedly is, as well as contributing to the wider strategic management of London.
"It is the right time for me to hand on the baton and I leave the council in safe hands, with an exciting future ahead. I have every confidence that the council will continue to go from strength to strength."
