Mindfulness, breathing and relaxation

A simple and effective practice to improve breathing and to relax body and mind

Venue: Upstairs at The Malt Shovel

When: Wednesday 14 February, 10:30 - 11:30 (1 hour)
Description: Mindfulness, breathing and relaxation exercises can alleviate stress and anxiety; they also help improve concentration and help us sleep better. A regular breathing practice can increase lung capacity and improve health. As we relax our muscles and release tension, our posture improves.We feel lighter in our bodies and easier in our movements. This is not a physical fitness class and there is no need for an exercise mat. We will be sitting on chairs for much of the class with a few gentle, limbering and stretching movements during the session. Included in the session is a guided relaxation for body and mind.
Price: £7 or £60 for 10 sessions no need to book - just drop in
