Air quality management and planning guidance

Advice and guidance on air quality for applicants, their agents or consultants including the Borough's Supplementary Planning Guidance (SPG) and Air Quality Management Area (AQMA).

The Planning Specialists Team, in full consultation with stakeholders, is responsible for developing and implementing the air quality management duties of the council. These duties include the review of air quality and the setting up of air quality management areas, where appropriate, to meet the national air quality standards.
