Hillingdon Peace Walk

The 10th Hillingdon Peace Walk took place on Sunday 18 September 2016.

The week of peace was launched in Haringey in September 2001 as a response to local community safety concerns, with thousands of people attending a peace concert, a peace walk and prayer walks around crime hotspots.

Since 2006, the London Borough of Hillingdon, Metropolitan Police and Hillingdon Inter Faith Network have run events across the borough and established the annual peace walk through the High Street of Uxbridge.

This annual event is a demonstration of Hillingdon's commitment for a safe, cohesive and peaceful borough as well as building relationships, respect and understanding and celebrating the rich diversity of our local communities.
