You can find out more information about individual courses by browsing our courses and downloading our brochure. Following the COVID-19 outbreak, we have adapted our enrolment procedures this year to ensure the safety of residents and staff.
Due to COVID-19 your course may include some distance learning, where sessions are delivered online. When sessions are run online, you are expected to attend at regular class times each week. You will receive an induction to online learning at the beginning of your course and your tutor will work with you to develop the skills you need to successfully learn online. You can also choose to do a free digital skills course to help you with your study and in life.
We will provide you a learner email address and login details for a virtual classroom. This allows you to access all your course materials online. In order to take part, you will need to have access to the internet and a tablet, laptop, or personal computer. If you don't have equipment and internet connection at home, we will be able help you, either through our 'loan and learn' scheme or by providing access at one of our centres, and additional support will also be available to you should you need it.
Some of your assessment may be done online however some assessments, including externally set exams, must be done in centres and we will make arrangements for these to be conducted in a safe environment. We will discuss the assessment requirements for your course when you enrol.
To enrol on courses that do not have a qualification attached, please enrol online.
To enrol on courses that do have a qualification attached, we need you to complete an initial online assessment to find out what your starting point is. If you would like a member of staff to contact you to discuss your choice before enrolling, please complete this form.
