Sergeant John Alan Scott was born in Greenford in 1918.

  • On 23 September 1940, he joined No. 266 Squadron, Wittering.
  • Joined No. 611 Squadron, Tern Hill on 27 September 1940.
  • He joined No. 74 Squadron, Biggin Hill on 23 October 1940.

  • Scott was shot down and killed in combat with Messerschmitt Bf 109s over Maidstone on 27 October 1940.
