London in Bloom
London in Bloom is the London-wide campaign to create lasting environmental improvement and a more attractive city for everyone, encouraging the use of flowers and shrubs and, in larger areas, landscaping for long-term habitat enhancement.
Each year, Hillingdon participates, competing against all the other London boroughs for a number of prestigious awards. The judges consider civic pride and enthusiasm, provision of flowers and plants and overall cleanliness.
The judges can award up to 30 Certificates of Excellence to individuals or businesses and winners are usually announced in October.
