Museum
The museum is located alongside Uxbridge Library in the former Middlesex Suite building at the Civic Centre, Uxbridge.
Our new exhibitions bring local history to life.
- Hillingdon's Treasures showcases some of the most fascinating artefacts and archives from our collection, telling the story of the borough's past.
- Shopping in Hillingdon explores the history and culture of shopping from the 19th century to today.
With a selection of unique objects, many on display for the first time, the new space allows us to exhibit larger items that were previously too big to show.
Families can also enjoy an interactive Victorian home display, complete with an original fireplace from the council's collection.
