TO THE GLORY OF GOD AND IN GRATEFUL RECOGNITION OF/THE SERVICES RENDERED BY ALL THOSE WHO FROM THE PARISH/FOUGHT IN THE GREAT WAR 1914-1919 THIS MEMORIAL TABLET/AND WINDOW ARE ERECTED AND SPECIALLY DEDICATED TO THE/HONOURED MEMORY OF THOSE WHO GAVE THEIR LIVES FOR THEIR/KING AND COUNTRY WHOSE NAMES ARE RECORDED HEREON (NAMES)/GRANT THEM O LORD ETERNAL REST & LET LIGHT PERPETUAL SHINE UPON THEM.
