ESOL courses

If English isn't your first language, join one of our ESOL courses where you will improve your reading, writing, speaking and listening, as well as your vocabulary, grammar and punctuation.

Group of adults learning English, maths and ESOL
Choose between a range of daytime and evening courses, where you can:

  • build your confidence
  • gain new skills and qualifications to either find a good job or continue with your studies.

We also offer shorter introductory courses, which start throughout the year and enable you to get started with your learning quickly.

Before you enrol

Before you enrol on an ESOL course, you must take a skills test to identify your current skills and make sure you join the most suitable class at the right level. Our tutors will be on hand to talk about which course is best for you.

Please note: The form for booking ESOL initial assessment is currently closed and we are not taking any new bookings. Please check back in April for ESOL courses.
