Anyone can be a victim of domestic violence and abuse. It can happen between intimate partners, ex partners or family members.

Hillingdon Domestic Abuse Advocacy Service (HDAAS)

HDAAS is an independent and confidential service that works with agencies (such as the police, housing and social care) to offer an independent and confidential service for male and female victims of domestic abuse.

If you are a victim of domestic abuse and live in Hillingdon, HDAAS can provide you with telephone advice to help you make informed choices about your situation and help you leave violent and abusive relationships safely.

Information for professionals

HDAAS offers support for all victims of domestic abuse, regardless of the level of risk (IDVA and floating support).

The service:

  • works alongside the client to reduce risks and repeat victimisation
  • co-ordinates services for individuals to ensure safe and positive outcomes and make referrals
  • provides reports to relevant supporting agencies
  • offers comprehensive risk assessments and safety plans for adult clients (aged 16+) and their children
  • provides advice, training and consultancy to agencies, partners and organisations.

To make a HDAAS referral, complete the HDAAS referral form (PDF) [144KB] and email it to hdaas@hillingdon.gov.uk. All referrals are actioned within 24 hours of being received.
