Councillor Becky Haggar

Councillor Becky Haggar was Mayor of Hillingdon from 2022 to 2023, accompanied by her husband and Mayor's Consort, Mr Marios Kaikitis, and escorted by her daughters, Pollyanna and Ellie May Haggar. The Deputy Mayor was Cllr Shehryar Ahmad-Wallana, and his Escort was Tooba Wallana.

Cllr Haggar has been a Hillingdon resident in Ruislip since the age of 2 and a councillor for the Eastcote and East Ruislip ward since she was first elected in 2014. Since 2022, she has represented the new Eastcote ward. 

Cllr Haggar has used the life experiences learnt from her late husband's illness and passing, to work with officers as the Carers' Champion for the borough, improving services and advocating carers voices. She has received several awards for her services in the community, including a British Airways award and an Our Local Hero Award.

Away from politics, Cllr Haggar enjoys the outdoors, gardening, and walking her dog. She is a keen history buff and admirer of beautiful architecture and historical places of interest.
