Recycling schemes and outlets
Outside of Hillingdon's recycling collections, there are lots of schemes and channels to recycle or donate unwanted items.

Drop off coin button, household domestic and rechargeable batteries in our battery recycling bins across the borough.

Includes old mascaras, empty toothpaste tubes, finished lipsticks and empty vitamin pots.

Donate clothes, books, DVDs, CDs, furniture and even bubble wrap to your local charity shop.

Recycle your used coffee cups at a number of places across the borough.

Repair electrical items that are broken or not working as well as they used to.

Recycle your old glasses at your local Specsavers store.

Take your empty perfume bottles to The Perfume Shop for recycling.

Recycle your used Tassimo, Nespresso and NESCAFÉ Dolce Gusto coffee pods.

Get an old bike repaired or serviced, donate an unwanted bike or buy a new or restored one.

Recycle crisp tubes, sweet packets, toothbrushes, contact lenses and other packaging waste.

Donate clothes, shoes, hats, belts, scarves and bed linen through Hillingdon's textile recycling banks.

Donate unwanted good quality household items and/or electrical items to Trinity Homeless Projects - a local charity that collects items for free.
