Transport

There are services available to help access activities across the borough.

Hillingdon Blue Badge

The Blue Badge scheme helps you park closer to your destination if you are disabled. Drivers or passengers who would otherwise be incapable of getting to shops, public buildings or other places may be eligible to receive a badge.

Check your eligibility and apply for a Blue Badge

Dial-a-Ride and other schemes

Dial-a-Ride is run by TfL and is for those with a permanent or long-term disability which means they're unable to use public transport. You must be a member to use the scheme.

Taxicard scheme

The Taxicard scheme provides subsidised transport for people who have serious mobility impairment and difficulty in using public transport.

On each journey, you'll have the choice between a 'kerb to kerb' service or a 'door to door' service, where the driver drops you off as near as possible to your starting point and destination. You'll need to let them know when you book your journey if you require a door to door service.
