Hillingdon's Civic Centre
Most council offices are based at the Civic Centre on Uxbridge High Street.
How to get here
Uxbridge Station is served by various bus routes and the Metropolitan and Piccadilly underground lines. There are various multi-storey car parks in the town centre. Useful travel links:
From Uxbridge Station
- Leave the Underground Station via the High Street exit (not the bus station exit). This leads to a square opposite the old market building with the clock tower.
Turn left and walk down the High Street, passing the Chimes Shopping Centre on your left. Further along you will pass the Central Library on your right. - Continue until you reach the junction with Vine Street (at the end of the pedestrianised area). Continue along the High Street for about another 100 metres.
- On your right you will see the civic centre: a red-brick building with a large forecourt.
From the A40, M40
- From the A40 exit at the Swakeleys Junction, then at Swakeleys Roundabout take the exit onto the B467 Park Road (signposted Uxbridge)
At the traffic lights go straight onto B483 Park Road
At roundabout take the first exit onto the B483 Park Road (signposted Town Centre) - At the roundabout take the first exit onto the B483 Park Road (signposted Hayes)
- At the roundabout take the third exit onto High Street, Uxbridge.
Parking is available at various multi-storey car parks in the town centre.
Main reception
Reception is located at the top of the steps with access for those with disabilities via the ramp to the right of the steps. Please report to the reception desk to sign-in and collect a visitor's pass.
Reception is open to the public, Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 5:30pm.
