The refurbished Manor Farm Library is part of the historic Manor Farm site, and has lots of new features.
What's new?
- Manor Farm library now open on market Sundays: To coincide with the Duck Pond and farmers' market, the library will be open 10.30am - 3.00pm on the following Sundays

- Longer opening hours: 9am-8pm Monday-Thursday, 9am-5.30pm Fridays, and 9am-5pm on Saturdays.
- More public PCs: 14 PCs including a scanner PC and fully accessible PC; 6 'Express' Apple Macs.
- Improved access: including lift and wheelchair lift, ramped access and accessible toilet.
- New look children's library: two new child-friendly PCs.
- Books in Polish: Manor Farm Library now has non-fiction books in Polish. This section will keep growing and will include fiction titles. Look in the Community and World Languages section.
Where to look for your items
Ground floor: fiction, large print and talking books, DVDs, CDs, popular non-fiction, Reference, study tables, catalogue PC and fully accessible PC.
First floor: non-fiction, public PCs and a scanner PC, Apple iMacs, study tables, newspapers and magazines.
Lower Ground: children's fiction and non-fiction, DVDs and talking books, child-friendly PCs.

- Creative Writing at Manor Farm - Wednesdays 7.30pm-9.30pm. Varied workshop sessions followed by feedback for members on work-in-progress. £3 per session - email Manor Farm library to request the latest programme, or just come along!
- Literary appreciation - the group meets fortnightly on Tuesdays 2.00pm-3.30pm to discuss classic and contemporary novels in-depth.
- Games afternoon - Scrabble, dominoes, draughts, chess, cards, whist and more! Every Thursday from 2.00pm

- The main part of the library is on two levels and has a wheelchair lift for access to Reference, Local Studies, Technology, Science, GCSE guides, Management and Biographies.
- There is a lift suitable for wheelchairs for access to the upper and lower ground floors. Automatic entrance doors.
- There is a public car park within 100 metres with marked bays for disabled users.
- There is an accessible toilet facility available.
