Spaces for hire at Winston Churchill Theatre

Auditorium

Hire of the main auditorium includes the use of the venue's PA system, basic plain lighting, stage, dressing rooms, lounge with bar, use of the kitchen, toilets and car park.

The dressing rooms provide seating for around 30 performers (depending on the space required for costumes) and can either be configured as 2 small and 1 big dressing room or (with a fixed partition) converted into 4 smaller dressing rooms. 

• Standing - up to 400 people
• Theatre style - up to 346 people (including 4 wheelchair spaces)
• Seated - up to 210 people

Please note: The theatre has no backstage lift facilities.

Lounge

Adjacent to the auditorium is the lounge - a small hall with a counter/ bar, leading from a large kitchen behind it.

Use of the lounge is included when you hire the main auditorium.

It can also be hired separately from the auditorium when the theatre is not in use.

• Standing - up to 100 people
• Seated - up to 70 people
