KidSpeak

KidSpeak is available directly through Transparent Language Online and can be used on a computer, laptop, or tablet. 

To access KidSpeak, select 1 of 6 current languages available from the list.
Click on 'KidSpeak' on the menu bar to launch the module.

Theory Test Pro  

Theory Test Pro is a highly-realistic online simulation of the UK's driving theory tests for all vehicle categories.

Transparent Language

Transparent Language is a web-based language learning platform offering more than 110 languages, including regional dialects and English as a second language.

Once signed up, download the Transparent Language mobile app.

Universal Class

Universal Class is an online educational service providing a range of learning courses for people interested in the lifelong pursuit of knowledge. There are hundreds of courses - from accounting and bookkeeping to yoga. These are non-credit courses and are provided for your personal development. Courses are not intended to be a substitute for any state, government, licensing, or educational requirements. 

You'll  have access to your course 24/7 online, so you can attend classes and do assignments as and when suits you. Each course has a real instructor who you can communicate with using email.

To access the courses, create a Universal Class account using your library membership number.  

Once you've registered, you can enrol in up to 5 courses and will have up to 6 months to finish each course.

Your membership card number and PIN

• Your membership number is either the barcode number on your library card or the number on the back of your HillingdonFirst card.   
• Please enter the full membership number without any spaces when using it to log in to the online resources.  
• If the number on your library card does not have the prefix 20112, you will need to add it at the beginning when using your membership number to use the online resources.  
• If using your HillingdonFirst card as your library membership card, it must have been activated at one of our libraries.*
• If you haven't been an active library user in the last 2 years, you will need to contact your local library to reactivate your membership.* You can also email librarycontact@hillingdon.gov.uk to get set up online.
• If you are unsure of your PIN, please ask a member of our library.

*You will also need to provide additional proof of your name and address.
