Citizens access portal upgrade
On Saturday 30 August, from 9am to 11am, essential maintenance is being carried out to upgrade our portal system. During this time, you may not be able to access your council tax, benefits and business rates accounts. We apologise for any inconvenience caused.
Your online Housing Benefit and/or Council Tax Reduction account
Our online facility allows you to view your account details which includes payment details and benefit entitlements. You will also see the income and household information that we have used to assess your entitlement.
The benefits of an online account
Using our online facility, you can:
- check your benefit entitlement
- check the amount of your next payment (please note if you are receiving Discretionary Housing Payment this will be shown on the 'view entitlement' section)
- see the details that have been used to assess your claim
- check if you have an overpayment which is being recovered.
