Community Safety Strategy consultation
We are inviting residents to share their views on our draft Community Safety Strategy for 2026 to 2029.
The strategy outlines how local organisations will work together to keep Hillingdon safe by reducing crime, tackling substance misuse, and preventing re-offending.
Our 4 key priorities are:
- Safer neighbourhoods: Making local areas feel safer by reducing crime and anti-social behaviour and supporting people who may be more at risk.
- Violence Against Women and Girls (VAWG): Helping those affected by domestic abuse and sexual violence, raising awareness and working to stop harmful behaviours.
- Serious violence: Tackling issues like knife crime and gang activity by working with young people, schools and communities.
- Preventing harm and safeguarding communities: Responding to threats like terrorism, hate crime and modern slavery by raising awareness and helping vulnerable people stay safe.
