Compass Classes and Clubs
It's not just shows on stage at the Compass. The Compass is a well-used community theatre and also home to a lots of daytime, after-school and evening learning and participation opportunities for people of all ages.

- Ballet Bums - cardio-based ballet workout in upbeat, fun sessions in the Compass Studio.
- Compass Kidz / Teenz - performing arts classes for 4 to 16-year-olds. Sessions run in term-time, after-school on Thursdays, and on Saturday mornings.
- Compass Totz - 30-minute musical theatre 'adventure' classes on Saturday mornings for 3 to 4-year-olds.
- Commercial Dance - 30-minute street, commercial and jazz dance classes 5 to 12-year-olds.
- Compass Puppet Club - welcoming new and experienced puppet makers and puppeteers to learn and improve skills and plan for future performances. For 16-year-olds and over (or younger with an accompanying adult).
- Curtain up! - monthly, daytime, volunteer-run play reading sessions, led by Zoe Iggulden from the Ruislip Dramatic Society.
- Hillingdon Music Service - after-school music lessons for children who are unable to learn to play instruments in school.
- Indian Music and Dance (PRSSV) - interactive classes in Indian classical music and dance, where equal emphasis is placed on learning to perform, as well as the theory behind the particular art form. Classes take place in Ickenham Hall.
- Stage Talent Academy - various after-school and weekend music lessons in piano, guitar, singing, music theory, ukulele and more. Lessons take place in Ickenham Hall - the Grade II listed building attached to the Compass Theatre.
- Stars at Knight - School of Speech and Drama - Saturday morning classes (during term time), covering challenging drama games, mime, voice, script work, stagecraft and improvisations, plus script reading and learning, rehearsal technique and preparation for presentations and shows, and masterclasses. Classes take place in Ickenham Hall.
- Violin Group - a Saturday morning group violin class, taught by Susan MacKillican. Classes take place in Ickenham Hall.
- WEA - Adult Learning Within Reach - educational courses for adults, in a variety of subjects. Courses take place in Ickenham Hall.
