Close season
The council operates a Close Season on Little Britain Lake and Ruislip Lido. Fishing is not permitted between Wednesday 15 March and Thursday 15 June (inclusive).
Anyone caught fishing or carrying out any fishing related activity during this time will be liable to a fine of up to £100.

- Little Britain Lake, Cowley
Situated between the River Colne and Frays River is an attractive lake, which is called Little Britain because of its similar shape to the British Isles.

All anglers must be Hillingdon residents. Proof of address will be required and must be shown to patrol/enforcement officers upon request.
