Fishing spots in Hillingdon
- Little Britain Lake, Cowley
Situated between the River Colne and Frays River is an attractive lake, which is called Little Britain because of its similar shape to the British Isles.
- Ruislip Lido
All anglers must be Hillingdon residents. Proof of address will be required and must be shown to patrol/enforcement officers upon request.
Local angling societies
- Blenheim Angling Society offers fishing in the Grand Union Canal from Denham Deep Lock to Batchworth Lock at Rickmansworth and private river and lake fishing at Wraysbury.
- Gerrards Cross and Uxbridge District Angling society.
An established angling club founded in 1933 by a few local anglers and we are now one of the largest societies in the Colne Valley.

- Uxbridge Rovers Angling and Conservation Society
Uxbridge Rovers is one of the oldest angling societies in the UK. They offer the pleasure angler and specimen hunter fishing on rivers, ponds, lakes, gravel pits and several miles of the River Colne and Thames.
