Freedom Pass

A Freedom Pass gives older and disabled Londoners free travel on almost all public transport in London.

Freedom pass
This pass may also be used to travel on local bus services in the rest of England.

For detailed information about the Freedom Pass and using it, visit www.londoncouncils.gov.uk/services/freedom-pass.

Please note: Only use the London Councils website to make a Freedom Pass application or to order a replacement Freedom Pass. There is a fake website in use that has been reported to the National Cyber Security Centre.

Are you eligible?

A change in the law means the age at which older people become eligible for a free travel pass will be later than their 60th birthday. You can check the date you'll be eligible by entering your birth date at the London Councils website.
