Sharing books from an early age is fun and educational, and it can help your child learn to read.
How to join
To join, visit your local library with two proofs of ID (one with your current postal address). You will be asked to fill in an application form and issued with a library card. Hillingdon residents may join using their HillingdonFirst card. No further proof of ID or address is required.
Borrowing items
You will be asked to produce your ticket whenever you wish to borrow items. Your ticket allows you to borrow up to 10 items from any library in Hillingdon. Books and talking books are normally issued for 3 weeks, and DVDs, videos for 1 week. There may be a small charge (fees and charges) to borrow some items. Fines may be charged for items returned late.
