Dementia Friends

If you'd like to support people living with dementia to live well for longer, why not become a dementia friend?

Dementia Friends is a national initiative to help people develop an understanding of dementia and the small things they can do to make a difference to people living with the condition.

Dementia Friends sessions

Book onto one of our Dementia Friends sessions to learn more about what dementia is and how to live well with it. All sessions take place at 10.30am to 12.30pm, in the Guest Room at Carers Trust Hillingdon in Uxbridge.

Dementia Friends online sessions

Dementia Action Alliance meeting

The Hillingdon Dementia Action Alliance is a group of 35 Hillingdon organisations that all work together to make Hillingdon a dementia friendly community. Members include Hillingdon Council, Hillingdon Hospital, Age UK, Hillingdon Carers Trust, the Alzheimer Society, and the Battle of Britain Bunker.

Meetings take place quarterly.
